Minnesota Lynx News Release
MINNEAPOLIS/ST. PAUL - The Minnesota Lynx today announced the team's home game on May 29, 2010 vs. Chicago, originally scheduled for a 2:30 p.m. matinee start, has been changed to a 7:00 p.m. tip-off. The game time was moved so fans could enjoy both the Lynx vs. Sky game at Target Center, along with the Minnesota Twins vs. Texas Rangers game at Target Field, which was originally scheduled for a 6:00 p.m. first pitch, but later moved to a 3:00 p.m. start.
With the Memorial Day weekend switch, the May 29 contest becomes Minnesota's lone Saturday night game on its 17-game home schedule.
The Minnesota Lynx will tip off the team's 12th season of basketball in the Twin Cities with their Home Opener on Sunday, May 16 at 6:00 p.m. against the Washington Mystics. Lower-level tickets are available for as little as $10 a game for the 17-game home season and can be purchased by calling 612-673-8400, e-mailing tickets@lynxbasketball.com, or visiting the Lynx website at www.lynxbasketball.com.
