THE HILLCATS: Lynchburg allowed a season-high 11 runs in an 11-5 loss last night at City Stadium...The Hillcats dropped to 5-7 on their current 13-game homestand...After today's game the Cats hit the road for 14 of their next 17 games...

FREDERICK: Last year the Hillcats dominated the series with the Keys, winning 15 out of 20 games in 2007, including seven out of ten at City Stadium...Frederick took two out-of-three from Lynchburg in the opening series of the 2008 at Harry Grove Stadium...The Cats have the all-time advantage 139-122, and are 73-61 at City Stadium against the Keys...

CLUBBING CATCHER: C Steve Lerud hit his team leading sixth home run in the fourth inning on Friday night...On the current homestand the Cats catcher is batting .306 (11-for-36) with three doubles, three home runs and 10 RBI in 12 games ...Over his last 21 games the former fourth round pick in 2003 is hitting .299 (20-for-67) with six doubles, five home runs and 18 RBI...
