
Luxor to serve as Gladiators official host hotel

Las Vegas, NV (December 15, 2005) - The Las Vegas Gladiators and Luxor announced today that they reached an exclusive agreement for Luxor to be the Official Host Hotel for the 2006 Las Vegas Gladiators Arena Football League Season. Luxor will house all eight visiting teams and their staffs when they travel to Las Vegas to take on the Gladiators.
"Luxor is a world-class property," said Gladiators General Manager Dan Dolby. "We are thrilled with this partnership and feel that all the teams that come to Las Vegas to play the Gladiators will receive all the first-class amenities and services including great restaurants, premier entertainment and a full Las Vegas experience that Luxor has to offer."
Felix Rappaport, president and chief operating officer for Luxor, said, "We look forward to renewing our partnership with the Las Vegas Gladiators and the Arena Football League for the 2006 season. In addition, the Luxor's Race & Sportsbook will host "Gladiators Game Plan with Ron James," the Gladiators weekly radio show. The show will be broadcast live from the Sportsbook bar each Wednesday night from 7 - 8 p.m. during the AFL Season. The show will feature an inside look at the Gladiators' season, reviews of the previous games and previews of upcoming opponents. The show also will feature great prizes from Luxor for those fans in attendance as well as special guest appearances by Gladiators players and dancers. Fans and guests of Luxor are encouraged to come and participate in the show each week. The show airs on ESPN Radio 920 in Las Vegas.

Gladiators
The Gladiators open the 2006 campaign Friday, Jan. 27, 2006, on the road at the Austin Wranglers. Kickoff is scheduled for 5:30 p.m. PST and can be heard on ESPN Radio 920 in Las Vegas with Andrew Siciliano and Mike Pritchard back to handle the call.
The Gladiators first home game will be a Monday Night Football contest against the San Jose SaberCats, Feb. 6 at the Thomas & Mack Center. Kickoff is slated for 7:30 p.m.
