Lund Lifts Blues past Worcester 8-2

The Blues continued to keep the bats alive last night, July 7, with an 8-2 win in Worcester when they took on the Worcester Bravehearts.

The Blues were led offensively by Davis Strong who was able to drive in three RBI's on three hits in last night's route of the Bravehearts. Gerrad Rohan also contributed three RBI's on two hits in the game.

Blues starting pitcher, George Lund, was able to pitch five innings without allowing a run and only two hits and added six strikeouts to the stat line. Lund was given the win as Bravehearts pitcher Bobby Maxwell was given the loss.

The Blues head back to Muzzy tonight when they take on the Torrington Titans in a double header starting at 5:30pm.
