
LumberKings Drop in the Great River Division Standings

The LumberKings dropped to second place in the Great River Division following a 12-2 loss in Burlington. Dylan Emmons gets the loss on the night dropping to (0-2), Jalen Evans gets the win improving to (1-0) on the year.
The Bees offense exploded in this one going off for 12 hits in the ball game. Highlighted by a three-run homerun from Kevin Santiago in a four run bottom of the second inning and a solo homerun from Jackson Jones to cap off the night and defeat the LumberKings in the bottom of the eighth.
The sole bright spot and only hit for the LumberKings came in the top of the fourth from Luke Ira who had a two-run homerun in the top of the fourth.
The Bees take first place of the Great River Division and the LumberKings drop into third place dependent on a Normal CornBelters win or loss tonight.
The LumberKings drop to 8-8 on the year.
