The LumberKings win the Great River Divisional round 4-3 overtop the Normal CornBelters and advance in the Prospect League playoffs to take on the Cape Catfish on Saturday, August 5th. First pitch for that game will come at 7:05 CST.
Ryan Miller gets the win on the mound. Graysen Drezek picks up the save.
LumberKings have 14 hits in the ball game, highlighted by a 3-4 night at the plate by Rayth Petersen and a 3-5 night at the plate for Jay Beshears. Tyler Dahm adds two RBI's, and Brett McCleary picks up an RBI as well.
The next game will be a winner take all game in which the winner will get a chance to host a game of the Prospect League Championship Series next week.
