Muskegon Lumberjacks News Release

MUSKEGON, MI - After 40 minutes of play the game between the Muskegon Lumberjacks and USA Hockey's NTDP Under-17 team on Saturday night has officially been postponed.

The Lumberjacks were holding onto a 3-0 lead after the second intermission thanks to goals from Matvei Gridin (Kurgan, RUS), Ty Henricks (Mission Viejo, CA), and Joe Connor (Amherst, NH) with 1:18 remaining on a powerplay to start the third period.

As the teams started to make their way back onto the ice an issue with the ice became apparent in the NTDP zone causing the game to be postponed.

A makeup date has not been announced. The Lumberjacks along with USA Hockey and the USHL will work to find a solution. More information will be posted to muskegonlumberjacks.com and on the Lumberjacks social media channels, @muskegonjacks on Instagram and X (Twitter) once it becomes available.

The Lumberjacks and NTDP U-17 team play tomorrow afternoon at USA Hockey Arena in Plymouth, MI. Puck drop is scheduled for 4 p.m. EST and can be caught on usahockeytv and for free on the Lumberjacks Hockey Network on Mixlr.
