Lukajic named to CHL All-Rookie Team

March 15, 2005 - Central Hockey League (CHL) - Topeka Tarantulas News Release

[TOPEKA, KS.] - The Central Hockey League (CHL) announced today that forward Mike Lukajic has been named to the CHL All-Rookie team. Other members of the CHL All-Rookie Team include Phil Aucoin (Memphis), Kevin Marsh (Colorado), Jarad Bourassa (Oklahoma City), Derick Martin (Lubbock), and Tyler Weiman (Colorado).

Lukajic currently leads the Tarantulas with 31 goals, and 19 assists for 50 points in 58 games played. He is currently fourth in CHL rookie scoring.

The 6’4” 225 pound right wing from Mississauga, Ontario played collegiate hockey at the State University of New York- College at Oswego (SUNY-Oswego). In four seasons, he tallied 144 points and 38 penalty minutes in 120 games played.
