The sun has finally shone on LeLacheur Park! The Spinners completed a six-game homestand this weekend with a 3-3 split, but the fans were garunteed to have had an enjoyable time with Bobble Heads, Star Wars characters and Bugs Bunny all in attendance over the past week.

The Spinners return home tomorrow night for Justin Masterson Bobble Head Giveaway, sponsored by Collins Dentistry for Children, where Justin will be in attendance!

We have HUNDREDS of tickets available for July 29 and 30 and August 3 as well, so don't be shy and give our ticket office a call at 978-459-1702.

Justin Masterson Returns to Lowell TOMORROW!

Tomorrow the Spinners will honor 2006 Lowell Spinner Justin Masterson with a Bobble Head in his likeness and Justin will be in attendance to throw out a first pitch and take in the game. Emily Elizabeth in the House, August 3

August 3 the Vermont Lake Monsters aren't the only large animals coming into town, as Emily Elizabeth and Clifford the Big Red Dog make an appearance at LeLacheur Park. As part of the evening, presented by T.D. Bank, the first 1,500 kids will receive a Clifford the Big Red Dog book and the real life Emily will be on hand to sign autographs after throwing out a ceremonial first pitch. Good Sports Celebrity HR Derby Comes to LeLacheur

July 26 Good Sports will host a Celebrity Home Run Derby at LeLacheur Park. Celebrity guests from the Boston sports teams and media outlets will be on hand for the soft-ball derby. For more information or to get your tickets, click below.

Scheduled guests include Irish Micky Ward, guests from the New England Patriots: Ben Watson, Stephen Gostkowski and Christian Fauria. Bill Walker and Dana Barros from the Boston Celtics. Spinners News and Notes Gibson Named Red Sox Minor League Player of the Month for June

Spinners shortstop Derrik Gibson was honored by the Red Sox as the Minor League Player of the Month for June after his scorching hot start to the 2009 Spinners season. Gibson batted .471 to start the season, leading the Spinners out of the gate. Gibson was one of several current and former Spinners honored for their strong month of June.

Strickland a Pirate

2008 Lowell Spinner Hunter Strickland found himself on the move Wednesday afternoon when he was traded along with SS prospect Argenis Diaz to the Pittsburgh Pirates for 1B Adam LaRoche. Strickland, who had been pitching for the Greenville Drive, will report to Low-A West Virignia. Good luck, Hunter.

Gabbard Rehabs with Spinners

Former Major Leaguer Kason Gabbard continues to rehab with the Spinners as he works his way back to the Majors. Gabbard has now thrown six innings over two appearances, allowing one earned run.

Spinners Set LeLacheur Park Attendance Record

The Spinners set an attendance record at LeLacheur Park Wednesday, July 15, with a franchise record 5,420 in attendance for Dustin Pedroia MVP Bobble Head Night, sponsored by Jeanne D'Arc Credit Union to watch the Spinners 2-0 win over the Aberdeen Ironbirds. The combination of beautiful weather, a bobble head giveaway and Jed Lowrie rehabbing led to the strong attendance.
