Wichita, KS (August 17th) - The Wichita Thunder, proud member of the ECHL and powered by Toyota, are excited to announce that forward Ian Lowe will throw out the first pitch this Saturday when the Wichita Wingnuts host the Laredo Lemurs at 7:05 p.m. at Lawrence Dumont Stadium.

"I am honored to be asked to throw the first pitch at the Wingnuts game again," commented Lowe. "I was a huge baseball fan and played growing up, so this is pretty cool! I also like being part of the community and letting people know that the Wichita Thunder support other pro teams in town as well."

Lowe threw out the first pitch last August when the Wingnuts returned from a 17-game road trip last August. Thunder fans can get discounted tickets through the Wichita Wingnuts front office. Contact Robert Slaughter at 316-264-NUTS or email him at Robert@wichitawingnuts.com. The Wingnuts are a member of the American Association and currently lead the South Division by five games over the Joplin Blasters. Fans can also print off this flyer by clicking here.
