Louisville, KY (September 9, 2015) -- Thanks to a 2-0 FC Montreal win over the New York Red Bulls II, Louisville City FC clinched a second place finish in the Eastern Conference standings, and a first round bye in this year's USL Playoffs. Louisville's first postseason match is scheduled to be played on Saturday, October 3rd at 7:30 PM at Louisville Slugger Field.
The USL playoffs are a single-elimination tournament and Louisville will face the winner of the Eastern Conference's first round match between the number three-seed and the number six-seed. With a trip to the USL Eastern Conference Championship on the line, this will undoubtably be the biggest match to date for the first-year club.
