Leesburg, VA. - Loudoun United FC today announced that the club has signed 2022 MLS SuperDraft pick Jacob Erlandson to a one-year contract with an option for the 2025 season, pending league and federation approval.
The Ohio-native was drafted 40th overall pick by Columbus Crew in the Second Round of the MLS SuperDraft. The defender spent the last two seasons competing with Columbus Crew 2 in the MLS Next Pro, playing 25 matches across all competitions.
"I had the pleasure of getting to know Jacob [Erlandson] as he entered the MLS Draft from Bowling Green State University," said Head Coach Ryan Martin.
