
Loudoun United FC Sign Defender Daniel Chica

Leesburg, VA. - Loudoun United FC announced today the acquisition of defender Daniel Chica.
"We are excited [Daniel] Chica is joining us ahead of the 2023 season," Ryan Martin, Loudoun United FC Head Coach, said. "Chica is a local player from our D.C. United U23 Program under Matt Lacey. He has trained with us in 2022 and has shown his ability to build out of the back with his great range of passing."
The Leesburg native attended Tuscarora High School and played for the Virginia Development Academy. The six-foot-two-inch defender played 12 games (nine starts) for George Mason University in the 2021 fall season.
Chica made his NCAA debut on February 27, 2021, playing 49 minutes with one shot on goal against James Madison.
