Los Angeles Stars adds two players to roster

Los Angeles, CA - The Los Angeles Stars Head Coach Burrel Lee has announced the signing of Jimmie Rainwater (6'6 Univ. of Portland) and Jermaine Slider (6'1 Fairleigh Dickenson) both players formally of the Hermosillo franchise.

"I have played 3 games in Hermosillo this season, 2 preseason and 1 regular season. Both players had real good games scoring, playing defense and just being team players." Coach Lee said. "Rainwater has stepped in and has become a starter dropping 21pts & 3 rebounds in a 2pt lost to Ontario" added Lee.

"By the time we take the court in Tijuana and Utah this weekend they should all the offensive and defensive plays down to a key and really playing ball," Lee says. Also look for Forward Kareem Abdul-JabbarJr., return to action this weekend coming of an ankle injury during a win over the Long Beach Jam.
