EL SEGUNDO - The Los Angeles D-Fenders have announced a special jersey sponsorship agreement with Gatorade, further expanding the brand's longstanding partnership with the Los Angeles Lakers organization. The Gatorade logo will now be featured on the front of the team's jerseys for the remainder of the season.
"The D-Fenders are proud to feature the Gatorade logo on our jerseys this season," said D-Fenders President/CEO Joey Buss. "The Lakers organization has built a strong relationship with Gatorade and the D-Fenders are motivated to broaden that relationship."
Gatorade has been a proud supporter of the Lakers organization for decades, dating back to when the Lakers played at the Forum. Their famous "G" logo can be seen on the seat backs of both the home and visiting benches during Lakers games at Staples Center. Gatorade also supplies fueling, hydration and recovery products necessary for athletes to perform at their highest level.
The D-Fenders new-look jerseys, featuring the Gatorade logo, made their debut on January 25th when the D-Fenders defeated the Sioux Falls Skyforce at Toyota Sports Center. Fans can see the new D-Fenders jerseys when they take on the Idaho Stampede on January 31st at 6:00pm, at Century Link Arena, in Boise, Idaho. The game will be broadcast live on the NBA D-League YouTube channel.
