Lookouts Down Generals 12-0 on Sunday Night

JACKSON, TENN. (APRIL 20, 2014) - The Generals (9-8) suffered their worst home defeat since May 11, 2010 on Sunday night as the Lookouts took a 2-0 series edge after a 12-0 victory. The Generals have suffered back-to-back losses now for the first time in 2014.

Jochi Ogando (0-1) struggled in his Double-A debut allowing six hits and six runs (five earned) in 3+ innings pitched. Ogando was 0-1 with a 3.38 ERA in two starts with High Desert this season before being promoted to Jackson.

O'Koyea Dickson provided Chattanooga with two home runs and six RBI's in Saturday's victory. Dickson capped off the Lookouts' six-run fourth inning with a three-run homer to left field.

The slugger added a two-run home run in the sixth that scored Brian Cavazos-Galvez and gave Chattanooga a 9-0 lead.

The Lookouts offense held a 12-6 advantage over the Generals in hits. Chattanooga pitchers combined to allow just one walk to Jackson's five.

Chattanooga starter Tyson Brummett (1-1) earned his first victory of the season after tossing seven full innings. Brummett allowed five hits and recorded five strikeouts before Pedro Baez recorded the Generals' final six outs.

The Generals recorded two extra-base hits in Saturday's loss. Kevin Rivers (1-4) recorded a triple and Mike Dowd (1-3) hit a double. Ketel Marte (1x4) extended his hitting streak to five games.

The Jackson Generals return to action Monday at 7:05 PM for game three of their five-game series against the Chattanooga Lookouts at The Ballpark at Jackson. RHP Trevor Miller (0-2, 7.30 ERA) will face left-hander Chris Reed (1-1, 1.02 ERA) on Monday night.
