
Long Beach Breakers Select Dance Team

Long Beach, CA. The ABA Long Beach Breakers dance team auditions were a huge success at Silverado Park Gymnasium. Twelve incredible ladies were selected for the pro basketball team's 2007-2008 inaugural season starting this November.
"The passion and the professionalism that these ladies showed throughout the auditions was simply amzing," said Long Beach Breakers team owner, Carl Williams. "I feel that these ladies will represent the beauty, intelligence and diversity of Long Beach. The six hour audition which was something out of "American Idol" was orchestrated by dance team director, D'nex Westmoreland and dance team leader, Kortney Yarbrough. Celebrity judges included Mana Gbewonyo (Coach Carter) and Isaac Singleton (Pirates of the Carribean).
