Who can beat the Long Beach Breakers?

SAN DIEGO, CA --On a wet and rainy night last night, the Long Beach Breakers traveled down the 5 freeway to face the other top team in the ABA's West Division, the San Dego Wildcats.

Down early 33 to 19, the Breakers faught and clawed their way back to an astounding 124 to 121 victory silencing the rowdy San Diego crowd.

Said Breakers assistant coach Rob Nelson, "I'm really proud of how the guys hung together as a team down the strecth, San Diego has a very good team and this is the first time that we've beaten them down here, One thing is for sure, we've got several players ready to play in the league (NBA)."

The Breakers (19 - 5) are currently on a six game winning streak and haven't lost in 2008.

Join the Breakers tonight as they host Multicultual Business, Commnunity, and Sound Energy Solutions (SES) night.

The Regional Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, Cambodian American Chamber of Commerce, Long Beach African American Chamber of Commerce, Long Beach Black Chamber of Commerce, City of Long Beach Human Dignity Program, and the Long Beach Branch NAACP will be holding their one of a kind mixer prior to the game at 4pm.
