Breakers Finally Lose A Game

December 17, 2007 - American Basketball Association (ABA)
Long Beach Breakers News Release

SAN DIEGO, CA--One of the teams that the Breakers had beaten during their 7 game winning was the San Diego Wildcats. Well, the Wildcats were ready and waiting, they got the win although barely at 112 to 108. Said Breakers head coach Olden Polynice, " It was a great game and incredible effort by the guys. I told them that they can't win every game but they certainly expect to."

The great news is that the Breakers can get immediate revenge tomorrow night (Tuesday) as the same two teams play at Long Beach City College on Carson St. at 730pm. The game will again feature former Long Beach State and Utah Jazz star Bryon Russell.

Thursday's game at 730pm features the partnership of the Long Beach Breakers and the Long Beach Fire Department as they team up for the Department's annual toy drive. Every fan that brings an unrapped toy receives FREE admission into game, and the fire trucks will be on display at 6pm.

Contact the Long beach Breakers at 562 277 2344 or www.lbbreakers.com. Tickets also available at ticketmaster (213 480 3232) or at the door.

Note: OurSports Central no longer actively covers the American Basketball Association (ABA) as a professional league due in part to its inability to publish and play a schedule and the transitory nature of many of its teams.
