Shreveport-Bossier Captains News Release
The Shreveport Sports hit four home runs on their way to a 9-6 victory over the Fort Worth Cats Wednesday at Fair Grounds Field. Justin Humphries and Tommy Bryant connected on solo shots while Bobby Bratton had a two-run home run and Adam Hale hit a three-run home run in the Sports victory. Although the Sports won 9-6, they had to hold off a late rally by Fort Worth as the Cats scored three runs in the eighth inning and had the tying run at the plate when the final out was recorded. The victory for the Sports evens the series at a game each with the final game of the three-game series Thursday. Game time will be 7:05 with the broadcast on AM 1130, KWKH.
