Lone Stars to Hold Early Tryouts

The Lubbock Lone Stars want to see YOU in those red and back Lone Star Jerseys. The Lone Stars will hold an early tryout for the '05 season this Friday at the Coliseum. Mike Buck plans to add at least a couple of athletes from this tryout to the training camp roster for next season.
Anyone and everyone is invited to see if you have what it takes to be the next Anton Paige or Gathan McGinnis. Pre-registration is required at the Lone Stars office on 66th and Indiana. The cost of the tryout is 45 dollars per person and potential Lone Star athletes are asked to be at the Coliseum before 6:00 Friday for stretching and registration.
Those who tryout will be evaluated based on football experience as well as their ability to perform on the Lone Stars turf with the walls up. Call 771-PASS for more information.
