Lubbock GunSlingers News Release
The Lubbock Lone Stars want to offer the fans a piece of History. After the final home game Saturday night the Lone Stars will auction off the home black Jerseys to the fans. Anyone who wants to remember the inaugural season can stay after the game Saturday and enter the auction.
Everyone's jersey including former Tech players Anton Paige, Gathan McGinnis, and Rodney McKinney's jerseys will be up on the action block. Fans are encouraged to stay after the final whistle and enter the auction.
The Lone Stars will also give away a a four wheeler in the second half to some lucky fan. People can sign up in the first half and one name will be drawn from a hat, and if a Lone Star player returns a kickoff for a touchdown then that lucky fan will get to drive home in their very own ATV.
Ticket sales for Saturday's game are going very well, but a couple of thousand seats are still for sale. The Lone Stars are hoping for a sellout in their final home game of the season.
