The Lubbock Lone Stars will have an intra squad scrimmage Saturday April 24th at Jones SBC Stadium. The team will be broken up into two teams, Red and Black, with George Godsey leading one team and Tommy Miller leading the other. This is an important scrimmage because Coach Buck's final cuts will come shortly after this game.
Fans are more than welcome to come out and watch. They are being asked to enter the stadium through the west gate, and park on the press box side parking lot.
After the Scrimmage the coaches will meet to discuss the opening day roster. Coach Buck has said he hopes to have the roster trimmed to the 19 allotted by the league plus three or four for the practice squad shortly after the scrimmage.
