LUBBOCK, TX â Ex NFL quarterback and current Lone Stars Head Coach Mike Buck will be conducting a mini-camp for local youth athletes on Thursday, July 22nd. The one day mini-camp will take place at the Municipal Coliseum on the Lubbock Lone Stars indoor football field. Area kids in grades 5th through 8th will have the opportunity to learn from NFL experienced personnel as well as some of their favorite Lone Star and former Texas Tech players.
The camp runs from 9 AM to 3 PM, and will teach the skills and fundamentals used at the professional level. It will also include lunch, a t-shirt, a Q and A session, and finally a flag football game on the Lone Stars turf. Participants will also get a chance to come down on the field and be recognized during the July 24th home game against the San Angelo Stampede.
The cost is just $50 and includes 2 tickets to the San Angelo game on July 24th.
