Lubbock GunSlingers News Release
The Lubbock Lone Stars have filled out their coaching roster for the `03 season. Coby Crouch has been hired on to coach the defensive and offensive lines. Crouch comes to the Lone Stars after a distinguished career at Western New Mexico.
The Carlsbad native played quarterback for the Mustangs for two seasons, and spent another season coaching as a graduate assistant. Crouch was then promoted to assistant wide receivers coach where he spent one season orchestrating the passing game. In those two years, the receivers accounted for over 4,200 yards, and NFL draft pick.
This is Crouch's first year coaching the lines, but expects his years playing right behind it to pay off. He says he is ready to get his hands dirty and help bring a championship to the hub city.
