Lubbock GunSlingers News Release
The Lone Stars have yet to play a game and already NFL teams are âraiding' their roster for players. Wide Receiver Anton Paige will leave Thursday morning for the Big Apple. The 6 foot 5 inch receiver from Texas Tech has signed with the jets as a free agent invitee to this weekend's mini-camp. The jets explored inviting him up last season but injuries to Anton's knee and hamstring did not permit him to attend.
Anton is not lost for the season. He says the camp ends Sunday and he will return to the Lone Stars as early as Monday.

Rosters were released Wednesday throughout the league. The Lone Stars where able to keep almost every Texas Tech player on the roster. The Lone Stars will carry six players with Red Raider football experience on their active and injury roster. Kicker Brandon Stroud, Fullback Gathan McGinnis, Linebacker John Norman, and Lineman Jonathan Gray made the active roster, while Anton Paige and Rodney McKinney are on the injury inactive roster.
