NORTH RICHLAND HILLS, Texas (August 25, 2015) - A collective sigh by hockey fans can be heard as the Lone Star Brahmas season is just around the corner.  This week the Brahmas begin training and battling for roster positions at the NYTEX Sports Centre (closed practices) prior to commencing the 2015-16 campaign.
The Brahmas play a home-and-home pre-season series on September 4th and 5th against the Cats; be sure to watch for the first home preseason game ticket sales for the 5th.  The final pre-season game will be September 15th against the Corpus Christi IceRays at 7:00 p.m.
The Brahmas regular season schedule kicks off in Amarillo on September 19th and then the team heads to the NAHL Showcase in Blaine, Minnesota days later.
Lone Star is holding a meet the team event on September 3rd from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. in the NYTEX Sports Centre lobby. That will also be the first day season ticket holders can pick up their tickets. The first home game will be on October 9th at 7:30 p.m. against the Amarillo Bulls.
