London Native to join Rippers Staff

LONDON, ONTARIO - The London Rippers Professional Baseball Club announces the hiring of London native Mike Lumley as Assistant General Manager of Baseball operations. Lumley will oversee daily baseball operations of the team as well as serving as a member of the coaching staff.

Lumley brings a wealth of baseball experience both in the professional and amateur ranks. As a player, Lumley was a standout at Eastern Michigan University before beginning his professional career with the Detroit Tigers organization. An accomplished coach with years of service to provincial and national team programs, Lumley is the head coach and architect behind the highly successful Western Mustangs men's baseball program and the Ontario minor baseball London Badgers. He has also served as the pitching coach for the Canadian Junior National Team.
