North Little Rock, AR - Tyler Locklear homered twice, driving in three runs and Alberto Rodriguez had three hits and four runs batted in as the Arkansas Travelers roared past the Northwest Arkansas Naturals, 10-6 in front of 6,388 on Saturday night at Dickey-Stephens Park. The Travs scored in five of the eight innings they batted, capped by a three-run eighth inning after their lead had been cut to one. Locklear had three extra base hits with a double in addition to the two home runs. Cole Young had two hits including a home run and scored four times.

* Rodriguez opened the scoring with a two-out, two-run hit in the first inning.
* After a five-run top of the eighth trimmed the Travs lead down to one, Arkansas answered with a three spot. Spencer Packard drew a bases loaded walk and then with two out, Rodriguez delivered another two-run single.

The Travs go for a series win on Sunday afternoon with LHP Reid VanScoter (1-1, 3.72) making the start. It is Mad Mallards week and kids run the bases after the game on an Operation Military Appreciation and Family Sunday. First pitch is set for 1:35 pm.
