Connecticut Sun News Release

UNCASVILLE, Conn. (May 18, 2009) - For the first time ever, Connecticut Sun fans will have the opportunity to watch virtually every game during the 2009 season, simply by turning on their computer and visiting www.connecticutsun.com.

With the introduction of WNBA LiveAccess, Sun fans from all over the world will be able to view webcasts of Sun games. Only games televised nationally or locally, or games tipping off at the same time as an ESPN2 or ABC broadcasted game in another market, will be delayed. But all WNBA LiveAccess games will be archived for on-demand viewing.

"This is another step forward in our effort to bring the game to our fans, especially when the team is traveling," Connecticut Sun General Manager Chris Sienko said. "I think fans all over the league are going to enjoy this new option for staying in touch with their favorite teams."

WNBA teams will utilize TriCaster, a portable live production and virtual set system, to stream select games from their arena to a worldwide audience. The TriCaster technology used to create live webcasts has been utilized effectively in the NBA Developmental League the last two seasons, using existing cameras in each arena to deliver live webcasts.

Although the schedule is subject to change, a total of 22 Sun games are currently expected to be available for live viewing on the web. That list includes June 14th against Atlanta, June 16th at Chicago, June 19th against Chicago, June 27th against Atlanta, July 2nd at Indiana, July 5th at Detroit, July 7th at Atlanta, July 19th against Indiana, July 22nd against Sacramento, July 30th at Indiana, August 2nd at Detroit, August 7th at Minnesota, August 9th against Washington, August 13th against Seattle, August 14th at Washington, August 19th against New York, August 22nd against Minnesota, August 25th against Detroit, August 27th at Seattle, August 30th at Los Angeles, September 1st at Sacramento and September 11th at Atlanta.
