"Live at the Lab" Returns for Its Fourth Season at Isotopes Park

Returning for its fourth season, the Albuquerque Isotopes are proud to host "Live and the Lab" prior to select Friday and Saturday night games at Isotopes Park throughout the 2015 season.

This year's musical slate will again feature local bands of various music genres performing 25-minute pre-game concerts near the Captain's Corner on the concourse inside Isotopes Park. Select games are still available and auditions are underway for the remaining dates.

All performances must be of the family-friendly variety. In advance of their performance, bands will receive publicity through social media, in-game advertising and on the Isotopes website, along with direct exposure to fans throughout The Lab during their live sets.

During the 2014 season, more than 20 bands appeared at The Lab, including local favorites The Noms, The Bus Tapes and The Porter Draw.

"Our experience as a band with 'Live at the Lab' was first class," said Mike Mares, member of The Noms. "Everyone we came into contact with was so helpful and kind. The exposure we got at the stadium was big for us, and we hope to be a part of it again in the future."

The preferred method of auditioning is to have Isotopes staff members watch your band during a live performance at a local venue. For more details regarding band requirements and available dates, visit abqisotopes.com.

Serious performers are asked to email Kris Shepard (kshepard@abqisotopes.com) and include "Live at the Lab: (Your Band Name)" as the email subject with the following information: contact name and number, music genre, dates and venues of pending live performances, links to showcase the bands' talents and pertinent bio information.
