Chicago Bandits News Release
Elgin, Ill. - The 2008 World Champion Chicago Bandits and Little League International are teaming up to bring Little League Nights to the ballpark this summer, giving additional training and educational resources to kids that play Little League Softball and Baseball across the country. Little League players are encouraged to wear their jerseys when attending the games so they can proudly represent their respective teams.
On June 4, June 11 and August 12 the Chicago Bandits are offering free admission to all Little League teams. Each night, Little Leaguers will have the opportunity to participate in Battle of the Bats: Little League Edition. Five Little League athletes will be selected at random to participate in a soft-toss home run derby for various prizes before the start of each Bandits game on the three Little League Nights.
The pitcher for the Battle of the Bats will be a marquee Chicago Bandits player, and a different Bandits team member will pitch to the participants each Little League Night. Prior to the first pitch of each Little League Night, the Chicago Bandits will honor the athletes in attendance with a Parade of Little Leagues to showcase the teams in attendance, with each team to be recognized in front of the stadium crowd.
Following each game, all fans in attendance will have the opportunity to get autographs and photos of the Chicago Bandits players as they will walk the first-base line signing autographs and meeting fans until the last fan has left.
Each Little League team planning to attend the Little League Nights must fill out a registration form on the Little League website (www.littleleague.org) at least 48 hours prior to the Little League Night. Only two coaches per team will be able to register for free admission.

Tickets for Chicago Bandits games start at just $8 and reach a maximum of $20. Looking to defend their 2008 World Championship, the Bandits will take on the Philadelphia Force in their first five-game series of the season beginning on June 3.
