Lipon, Ully and Kozun in Final Central Scouting Rankings

Kamloops, BC - NHL's Central Scouting Final Rankings were released today with JC Lipon and Cole Ully being ranked among the top 210 North American skaters. Goaltender Taran Kozun is also ranked among the top North American goaltenders.

JC Lipon is ranked 83rd among North American skaters moving up from 96th at the mid-term rankings. The 6'0" and 180lb forward represented Canada over Christmas at the U-20 World Junior Championships in Russia. The 19-year-old, who has been passed over in the last two NHL drafts, had 36 goals, 53 assists and 89 points in 61 games during the regular season. In the playoffs, Lipon has 22 points in 13 playoff games.

Cole Ully is ranked 92nd among North American skaters up slightly from the mid-term rankings where he was 97th. The 5'11" 167lb forward had a breakout season with 22 goals, 28 assists and 50 points in 62 games. The 17-year-old has a goal and seven assists for eight points in 13 playoff games.

Goaltender Taran Kozun is ranked 30th among North American goaltenders after not being mentioned in the mid-term rankings. The 18-year-old goaltender quietly had a good season going 11-4-1-2 with a 2.36 goals against average and .914 save percentage.
