Prince Albert SK- Two Prince Albert Raiders have been listed in the National Hockey League's Central Scouting final rankings for the upcoming 2013 Draft in New Jersey.
Josh Morrissey is ranked 27th among North American skaters, after leading all Raiders blueliners with 15 goals and 32 assists for 47 points this season and recording a plus-14 rating. The Calgary, Alberta product finished tied for the team lead in power play assists, with 19, and scored 5 times with the man-advantage. Morrissey was named the WHL's Eastern Conference Scholastic Player of the Year for 2012-2013.
The 6', 186 pound defenceman is currently second in defenceman scoring at the 2013 World Under-18 Championships in Sochi, Russia with 2 goals and 4 assists in 4 games, while sitting tied for top spot in plus/minus, currently posting a plus-7 rating.
Jayden Hart was the second Raider to make the list, coming in at 134th among North American skaters. A native of Spruce Grove, Alberta, Hart scored 9 goals and added 12 assists for 21 points in 33 games after being acquired by the Raiders at the midway mark of the season. Despite joining the team half-way through the year, the 6'2", 192-pound centre finished the season tied for the team lead in power play goals, with 7.
The 2013 NHL Draft will take place on June 30th at the Prudential Centre in Newark, New Jersey.
