B.C. Lions News Release
(Vancouver) - It's a double dose of action on Tuesday as the Lions' scouting brass embarks on both the Global and CFL National Drafts.
"This season presents a new and exciting opportunity to add to our talent pool at two different designations in a matter of hours," said Lions co-GM and director of football operations Neil McEvoy.
"Being able to return to scouting prospects in person at the various combines also has our group of evaluators excited for the chance to improve our football team for this year and beyond."
The extravaganza begins at 9:00 am Pacific time as teams will choose from a talented crop of players from outside Canada and the United States.
The Lions hold the 3rd, 16th and 20th overall picks in the three-round Global Draft.
Then at 5:00 pm, Lions brass will look to add to an already impressive Canadian contingent with the CFL Draft.
