Lions respond to demand for more prime seating

(Vancouver) In response to customer requests for more prime seating at BC Lions home games next season, the club is excited to announce that upper deck sections behind the visitor's bench will be available for purchase beginning today.

"We are very pleased that support of the Lions continues to grow and the demand for more prime seating has reached the point where it's necessary to open up 4,700 more seats in the upper level," said Lions president and CEO, Bob Ackles. "Our partners at BC Place have also been very helpful in making this possible and they deserve kudos as well."

Season ticketholders who formerly held seats in these sections, which run between the 10 yard lines, will be given first priority to reclaim their seats.

Current season ticket holders and new season ticket holders who pay their accounts in full on or before Friday, December 14th will automatically be eligible for bonus prizes including a trip for two to the 2008 Grey Cup in Montreal. Other prizes include road trips to East Division and West Division games, a weekend stay at 2008 Training Camp and a an official Reebok jacket.

Current season ticket holders and new season ticket holders who place a deposit on their account on or before Friday, December 14th will receive a $200 travel voucher courtesy of Transat Holidays on Sun Vacation packages.
