Another exciting BC Lions home game is on tap and there's no better way to get game night started than with the BC Lions Tailgate Party presented by Nissan starting at 5:00 pm on Terry Fox Plaza.

Live music on Saturday will come courtesy of the Paper Trails and a performance by the Felions is also on-deck for the Tailgate Party along with lots of great family activities while early-bird food and beverage pricing is in effect inside BC Place from 6:00 to 6:30 pm.

Saturday's pregame and halftime panel hosted by Christie Buono will tap into the football expertise of former Leos Geroy Simon, Daved Benefield and Anton McKenzie.

For Lions fans looking for a bit of a different game-day vibe, the new Club Orange features unique food and beverage options, a live DJ and plenty of club atmosphere for $40 plus applicable fees and taxes.

**A reminder to all fans heading to BC Place on Saturday to leave plenty of time to get downtown with a hockey game slated to start at the same time as kickoff.

Salute to Amateur Football

The BC Lions are proud to continue their annual salute to amateur football in 2015 and there's plenty to celebrate again this year. The club will pay tribute to the 2015 induction class of the BC Football Hall of Fame, present a cheque in the amount of $379,000 to BC Amateur Football from last year's 50/50 proceeds as well as this year's Orange Helmet Awards and welcome four pee wee football teams from around the province to showcase their skills at halftime.

Game Overview

The BC Lions (5-8) play host to the Winnipeg Blue Bombers (4-10) on Saturday night at BC Place. Fans across BC and those heading down to the game can tune into the TSN1410 pregame show starting at 5:00 pm.

It's another critical game for the Lions as they look to secure their hold on a playoff position with five games left in the regular season schedule. The club comes off a dominating win over the Saskatchewan Roughriders last weekend as rookie quarterback Jonathon Jennings threw for 364 yards and four touchdowns in just his second career start. The performance also included a 21-yard touchdown reception by Jennings courtesy of receiver Austin Collie as the Leos launched their biggest offensive attack of the season in the 46-20 win.

Jennings and company will look for another home victory on Saturday as the Winnipeg Blue Bombers come to town after falling to the Edmonton Eskimos 24-23 on the final play of the game last week. The Lions not only have an opportunity to distance themselves from the Bombers in the West Division standings, but also avenge an earlier loss to Winnipeg in Week 5.

BC Lions season ticket renewal time is here. As part of the renewal program, the Lions will be giving away a jersey for each seat renewed on an account by October 30th and that's just one of a number of exciting benefits which also includes a 10-month payment plan, a 20% discount on merchandise, access to exclusive club events and a 10% credit for referrals.
