Lions' home opener approaches
June 13, 2006 - Canadian Football League (CFL)
B.C. Lions News Release
With only 4 days left until the home opener June 16 against the Saskatchewan Roughriders, season ticket sales will close as of 3:00pm Friday.
The Lions own the best home record over the past two seasons with an impressive 14 wins and two first-place finishes while enjoying 'dome field advantage' in BC Place Stadium. Coming off an impressive training camp in Abbotsford, and a sound thrashing of the Calgary Stampeders in the final pre-season game (57-13), the Leo's have made significant strides in acquiring new personnel to shore up what was already a great core of veteran players.
Dave Dickenson, Geroy Simon, Tyrone Williams, and the rest of the Lions are setting their sights on getting to Canada's ultimate sporting event, The Grey Cup, to be held in Winnipeg November 19th.
Don't delay. To secure your seats for the 2006 season call 604-589-ROAR, click here for season ticket info, or visit www.bclions.com
This Wednesday, between 6:00 and 9:00 am, The BC Lions Football Club through the support of their partners Global, TEAM 1040, JACK FM, The Province and the Pacific National Exhibition (PNE) are pleased to offer Lions fans a special ticketing offer for the team's home opener versus the Saskatchewan Roughriders.
