
Lions Go for Sweep of Roughriders on Rivalry Night Presented by Tim Hortons

(Vancouver)- The 8-1-0 BC Lions are on fire and looking to keep their early-season run going in a rematch with the 5-5-0 Saskatchewan Roughriders on Friday, August 26 presented by Tim Hortons. Kickoff is 7:30 pm.
Join us for Rivalry Night as the squad aims to sweep Saskatchewan in the regular season series and keep pace with Winnipeg in the race for first place in the Western Division. The rivalry celebration extends to the patrons as a group of Lions and Roughriders fans will square off in a halftime dodgeball game.
The fun begins early with our Backyard Street Party on Terry Fox Plaza with a happy hour that includes $5 beers and margaritas. Famous Players Band is back for an on-stage performance while younger fans can enjoy face painting and arcade games. 2022 Canadian Football Hall of Fame inductee Paul McCallum will also be on hand signing autographs.
Inside the stadium, fans can take part in an activation put on by BCLC and PlayNow.Com from 6:30-7:30 pm. The event includes an autograph signing by Lion legends Lui Passaglia and Sean Millington.
