
Lions Announce 2nd Workout in Richmond

The Columbus Lions will be headed to Sports Reality for the second invitation only workout on Sunday December 2, 2018. Sports Reality is a 50,000 square foot state of the art indoor training facility that has hosted university of Richmond Pro Day, Washington Redskins inclement weather training camp facility, and several NFL private workout that include Indianapolis Colts tight end Mo Allie-Cox and New York Giants Quarterback, Kyle Lauletta.
Located minutes north of downtown Richmond, Sports Reality is an accessible mid-point location on the east coast that is convenient to for athletes from Pennsylvania, New Jersey, New York, Maryland, Virginia, North and South Carolina. "Having a facility that is accessible for prospects in really important in the evaluation process," stated Lions Head Coach Jason Gibson. "In order to get the top tier athletes we strategically pinpoint locations that can attract the top guys."
The tryout on December 2nd will be not be an open tryout. Interested athletes should go to www.columbuslions.net and click on the prospective player graphic to fill out an initial questionnaire designed to screen our prospects. A follow-up call from the player personnel will follow for those that are qualified.
