(Vancouver) The BC Lions look for a second-straight home win this Friday night as they welcome the new-look Hamilton Tiger-Cats to BC Place at 7:00 pm presented by Nissan.

With clear skies and warm temperatures in the forecast, Lions president Dennis Skulsky has announced that the roof at BC Place will be open for the game.

The Leos are fresh off a 33-16 win over the Winnipeg Blue Bombers last Friday, a game that not only saw Geroy Simon break the CFL's all-time receiving record, but also gave head coach Mike Benevides his first career win.

Fans are asked to be in their seats early on as the club will honour Geroy Simon with a brief ceremony prior to kickoff on Friday evening.

The Hamilton Tiger-Cats travel west after a tough 43-16 loss to Saskatchewan, but have had some recent success versus the Lions taking both games last season. New Ti-Cats quarterback Henry Burris will have plenty of weapons at his disposal as 2011 Outstanding Rookie Chris Williams and fellow receiver Andy Fantuz will give the Lions secondary plenty to think about.

During halftime, the Lions will honour former defensive linemen greats Nick Hebeler and Rick Klassen as they take their rightful place on the club's Wall of Fame.

All the fun starts at 5:00 pm as Nissan presents the BC Lions Street Party located at the corner of Beatty and Robson Streets on the Terry Fox Plaza featuring live music, face painting, poster making, interactive games and a performance by the 2012 Felions.

Fans can catch all the hard-hitting Lions action in 2012 by visiting 7-Eleven locations across the Lower Mainland. For just $76 including all taxes and fees, Lions faithful will receive two tickets in the Touchdown Endzone, a savings of $10 while supplies last.
