Lions and Mammoths Battle It out in the Jungle

When these two teams met a couple of weeks ago, the Lions were in the midst of a three- game win streak and on a mission to capture the top spot in the NAL. The Mammoths were a team that competed with everyone but couldn't quite close it out. Two weeks ago, the Mammoths finally got the signature in, holding on in overtime over Columbus 42-41.
Now the Lions are looking for revenge and to get on another run. The Lions have dropped their last two games and lost a key member of their team in Quayvon Hicks. Hicks was invited to Detroit Lions camp last week. The Lions did make a big signing to try and replace Hicks' production. The signing if Kamryn Pettway
made waves across the league as the former Auburn Tiger will look to replicate his success and stabilize a struggling backfield.
The Lions will take on the Maine Mammoths on Saturday night in Columbus, starting at 7. Fans are encouraged to get there early and cheer on their Lions in a late season matchup.
