
Lincoln rolls past Rims for Summer League win

David Finklea had 19 points and 11 rebounds Friday night to lead the Lincoln Generals to a 116-90 win over the Billings Rims in the AAPBL Summer League at MetraPark Arena.
Finklea, a 6-foot-4 guard from Morningside (Iowa), led six Lincoln players in double figures. Aderick Hills added 17 points and Terris Sifford 16 for the Generals.
Former Rocky Mountain College standout Luke Kunkel led Billings with 26 points. Rio Logan added 13 points and eight rebounds for the Rims, and Dan Lumpkin had 12 points and eight rebounds.
Lincoln is now 2-3 in the Summer League, a 12-day tryout camp for the All-American Professional Basketball League. The Summer League continues through next Friday (July 22).
