Lightning's Daleo to scout at Moody Bible Camp

With his China tour and first free agent camp behind him, Coach Daleo is ready to tackle his next summer event. The Chicago Pre- Draft Camp is probably the most important summer camp for any NBA hopeful. From June 7 through June 10 at the Moody Bible Institute in Chicago, Coach Daleo will be rubbing shoulders with NBA general mangers and Directors of Player Personnel in search of the Lightning's 2005-2006 rookie. The vast majority of the Chicago pre-draft camp players will be drafted in the second round, or not drafted. Many who are underclassmen will go back to school and try again next year. A select handful of them might be taken in the first round of the Draft. " I really enjoyed going to China again this year, and I had many potential rookies on my roster, but the Chicago Pre-Draft is the place to be to scout the best of the best." Said Coach Daleo. Many Lightning players such as Teddy Dupay, David Harrison, Korleone Young and Brian Wardle have all played in the Chicago Pre-Draft. The NBA invites 64 players. Lightning rookie from last year's squad, Sidney Holmes, was not invited to attend the combine. The CBA is allowed to send one representative from each team to the camp. The first session on Tuesday the 7th will be from 5-8 pm, while there will be two sessions each of the following three days, from 9am -noon and then 5-8 pm.
