Coach Daleo at New Milford School, Haskell and Hooters As the summer off-season season starts to heat up, it is another busy week for the Rockford Lightning. Just because there are not any games at the Metro Centre does not mean that Coach Daleo can sit back and relax. There is Lightning news to spread! On Tuesday May 3, Coach Daleo will be attending Career Day at New Milford School in New Milford, Illinois. From 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. the Coach will be talking to over 75 students about the ins and outs of coaching basketball. On Thursday May 5, Coach Daleo will be attending Career Day ay Haskell School. From 9:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. the Coach will be handing out Lightning player posters and speaking to approximately 100 kids about life in the CBA. Said Coach Daleo, "between the students at New Milford and Haskell, I am hoping to find a pool of kids that could be hard working assistant coaches." On Thursday night the Coach switches gears and travels to Hooters in Rockford where he is guest judge for the "International Hooters Swimsuit Competition". Known for having a keen eye for talent, Coach Daleo will be joined by Stone and Double T of WXRX 104.9 Radio. "I am really focusing on two things," said Coach Daleo "a winning smile and a solid personality." Everyone is encouraged to come to Hooters for what promises to be a fun filled night.
