With the season rapidly approaching, the Rockford Lightning are out in the community getting the word out for the upcoming 2005-2006 season. The Lightning "Boltz" Dance Team will be at Warner's Auto on 415 Logan Ave. in Belvidere this Saturday with their annual meet and greet. The Lightning "Boltz" Dance Team will be washing vehicles from 11am to 2pm. Come out and support the "Boltz" Dance Team. The Lightning are proud to Warner's a Lightning sponsor.
The Rockford Lightning are also now in the market for an athletic trainer for the upcoming 2005-06 season. Potential candidates should forward their resumes to the Rockford Lightning office as soon as possible. The position is open and needs to be filled immediately.
Lightning athletic trainers are responsible for being at all practices, games home and away, and other training duties. Trainers must be certified to be considered for the position.
The Lightning open their 20th season in the CBA on the road against Gary on November 18th before returning to the MetroCentre on November 20th to host the same Steelheads. Lightning Season Tickets are still available. There are only a few of the Nicholson seats left.
