Rockford Lightning News Release

Rockford, IL. Pending league approval, the Lightning are pleased to announce another great addition to Vet's Camp. B.B. Walton is a 6'8, 218 lb., forward from the University of South Florida.

Walton has already made a name for himself in college basketball. He was the first player in Conference USA history to record over 1900 points, grab over 900 rebounds, and have over 200 steals. Walton is fourth all-time in Conference USA history with 30 double-double performances.

The Tampa, Florida native is returning to the states after playing overseas for the last season. "His career stats, in a very tough Conference USA, show what a great player he is," says Coach Daleo, "he's very versatile, he can score, rebound, and defend."

Vet's Camp starts November 4th for the Lightning. Season ticket packages are still available if you haven't already reserved your seat, further information can be obtained by calling the Rockford Lightning front office at 815-874-4232 or by visiting the team website.
