Lightning add assistants
(Loveland, CO) - Colorado Lightning Head Coach Rafael Amaya and Acting General Manager Don Tumminia came to agreements earlier this week with Luis Dominguez and John Wells, making them the new assistant coaches for the PASL-Pro Arena Soccer team in Colorado.
Tumminia said, "We are fortunate to land two coaches with such complementary abilities to (coach) Amaya. Luis is very technically skilled and John is incredibly versed tactically."
Luis Dominguez, of Loveland, a native of Mexico, has over 31 years of soccer experience, playing professionally in Mexico for Club Leon, as well as with the Comets of the USISL. Dominguez is coaching Director of the Soccer Touch Academy, a soccer technical training school. Wells founded John Wells Soccer School and most recently coached the Southern Colorado Stars of the PASL-Premier to the National Finals. John's passion for the game is stated in his motto, "First you must Love the Game."
