
Colorado Lightning Brings On First Community Bank Of Colorado

(Loveland, CO) - Colorado Lightning Soccer has bolted off to a fast start in Northern Colorado. Within days of the Lightning's announcement, First Community Bank of Colorado became the official bank of the Colorado Lightning, and purchased season tickets for the upcoming 2008-09 season.
Colorado Lightning General Manager, Don Tumminia, said that the partnership with First Community Bank of Colorado is an important component of the success for the new team. "Teaming up with great local businesses, such as First Community Bank of Colorado, is the best way to stay active in the community," said Tumminia. "This community has already shown so much support for youth soccer, and our sponsors want to reach out to that demographic as well", added Tumminia.
The Budweiser Events Center will host eight of the Lightning's home games for their inaugural season as part of the Professional Arena Soccer League (PASL), starting with the season opener Sunday, November 2.
Season tickets are on-sale now by phone at 970-619-0217. Single game tickets priced at $10, $16, $20, and $25 plus additional fees, go on-sale September 15. The top-tier of the Professional Arena Soccer League (PASL) has four divisions: Western US, Western Canada, Eastern US, and Mexico. The Western Division includes the following teams: Stockton Cougars, CA., Wenatchee Fire, WA., Denver Dynamite, and Colorado Lightning. The Lightning play 16 regular season games in total, eight at home at the Budweiser Events Center. Teams in the PASL will play six vs. six, including goalkeepers, on an indoor field 85 feet wide by 200 feet long during four 15 minute quarters (sudden death, if needed).
