
Lighting Malfunction Suspends July 4th Clash Between Clinton and Burlington

CLINTON, IOWA- On Independence Day, the Clinton LumberKings played host to the Burlington Bees in front of a buzzing NelsonCorp Field. However, a lighting malfunction took place in the top half of the eighth inning, suspending the game. At the time of suspension, the Burlington Bees had just taken a 7-6 lead.
The game is set to resume tomorrow at 5:30 P.M and will be followed by the regularly scheduled second half opener against the Bees.
